The good reverend doesn't read the same Scriptures as the rest of us. In another era it would have been unthinkable for someone of his character to even be considered for ordination as a priest.

Until someone can come up with a reliable test to determine whether a corpse was gay or straight, homoerotic behavior will continue to be in a different class from ethnicity and gender.

But I see the problem. The Bishop is trying to get people into the Church. That's not his job. His job is to preach the Gospel and make disciples. It's G-d's job to draw people to the Church. And He is more likely to do that by healing than by celebrating perversion.

Isn't this the exact thing the Paul condemned in 1st Corinthians? Weren't the church members in that city following a Pastor who was engaging in open sexual sin? Didn't Paul get pretty ticked off about this and lecture the congregation severely? The more things change the more things stay the same.

The Judeo Christian God DOES NOT embrace homsexuality. He condemns it like other sins.

Psalm 2:4

[4] He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Psalm 59:8

[8] But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

Not according to the Judeo Christian God or the Bible whick speaks for Him.

Prov.14:12

[12] There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Truly His coming must be soon. Prophecy dictates that the churches would fall away and sound doctrine not tolerated. Clearly this IS happening.

God has already told the world that no one is beyond His love - He sent His Son to die on a cross.

John 3:16,17 says it all.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
