TRENTON -- The state Democratic Party and the Secretary of State's office have been served grand jury subpoenas in the federal investigation into billboard deals that former aides of Gov. McGreevey brokered.

Speaking to assembled reporters, McGreevey Press Secretary Baghdad Bob said the following, "Not only are all of the accusations wildly false, but my boss, Mr. McGreevey, is not Governor of New Jersey. Further, there is not, nor has there ever been, any state named 'New Jersey'"
