Nice!
1 Corinthians 1
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

How gratifying.
Perhaps because of my exposure to you on the other thread . . .
but I new instantly why you'd used that phrase.
I agree.
Those who save their lives shall lose them. Those who lose them for HIS SAKE, shall save them.
Lots of paradoxes.
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad HE'S BOSS
AND
that He has His Loving, Sacrificial, Servant-hearted, Humble values lived out throughout His Resurrection Life.

By all means, as long as you give credit to the magazine and the writer. I think many people will enjoy reading this.

Actually, I think Jesus hung out with a lot of 'saved people' as well as taking his message to the lost sheep. As Christians we nourish ourselves with the good in order to feed the not so good.
Remember, we are all sinners, every one of us. If people were searching for Jesus message, they were better than most. So it's somewhat difficult to only refer to losers.
Christians in Christ are all big winners IMO.
I like the food for thought. Thanks.

Mr. Ventura has not the slightest clue.

Great post! Clint Eastwood summed up the Christian and conservative philosophy best when he said:
"A man's got to know his limitations."

What I enjoy most about being a loser is that through Jesus I am saved.

In reading the article, I found myself grinning from ear to ear... the phrase just screams out at you! I had heard it before, though.

Shouldn't this mean that Christians ought to support socialism?
To: Quix
Christianity is for the losers...
those with a small bank account, low self esteem, a bitter spouse, an abusive mother, a dirty house, a screaming toddler, a broken washing machine...
Can't help but smile! :)
