Just the one-eyed parrot and the organ-grinder's monkey.

You'll be getting a call from PETA on that one.

The worlds ends -- when they die -- for tens of thousands of people every day. What's the big deal then about the end of the world?

So are conservative Christians concerned about the Apocalypse not 'Republican'? To some here it is an important issue. Whether it happens exactly as the 'Left Behind' books say or another author may say it does, according to the Bible it will happen

Click on #58. The new and improved chapter excerpts are up on it, (which means all new typos to weed out).

perhaps millions of others put up with the awful writing and the rapture business merely because they were hungry for a Christian world-view novel?

Imagine if there was a GOOD contemporary novel with a conservative message and an understated Christian subtext?

There's some truth to this. But I also think it's a matter of the market. Books get published in the hopes of making money. Poorly written novels get published and people eat them up like the junk candy they are. I'm sure there are many well written, artful, and Christian oriented novels out there. But the market can't find the audience to buy them.

There is a lot to what you say. Writing is only "phase one." Marketing is much harder, and all the effort of writing is wasted if an equal or greater effort, and an equal amount of thought is not put into "phase two."

I'm up to about 24,000 hits on the EFAD website, but if the average person hits it ten or 20 times reading the excerpts, that's a much smaller number of individuals.

I'd be happy if I got it on or off camera, and not only vicariously as a writer.

These are the stats that are costing me money,,,,,

17. Total data transferred 28.47 GBytes

18. Total data transferred in last 7 days 1.62 GBytes

My best day was right at 2000 hits. That is far more than a hit a minute. I have also received around 400 emails (not including viruses) about my site. I'll shut-up now!!

BTW, do you know how to "ping" lists? I'd like to learn how to ping the Christian list.

You haven't figured that out on your own, apparently, for some simple reason.

Apparently not; that's why I asked.

Apparently, for some simple reason, you haven't figured out than when somebody asks someone how to do something, they usually haven't yet figured out how to do it on their own.

Jeff, can you read 76 and 77? Can we track where hits come from, and the rest of that stuff?
