The Axis is indeed Evil and must be destroyed. Only unconditional surrender will suffice. No more Kissingerian truces, armistices, draws, withdrawals or detente. There is no other way.

I must emphasize something here. Beijing wouldn't pose such a threat in Southeast Asia if it weren't for the corrupt ethnic Chinese elites of the region who wield enormous financial clout and have extended their tentacles deep into the pockets of local officials. Burma is only an extreme case of how the Chinese are slowly pulling Southeast Asia into their orbit. Nowhere in the world is the nexus between legitimate enterprise, organized crime, and various forms of terrorism as well-established as it is in the Chinese-dominated zones of Southeast Asia. And the Chicoms are definitely pulling the strings. Their biggest pieces in this chess game are untouchable - the Li Kashing's, Stanley Ho's, Robert Kwok's, and other commercial magnates who bring an aura of respectability to their dealings with the West, yet have acquired a huge stake in the most extensive network of underground activities in human history. We're not going to win this war unconditionally, for the simple reason that we're not going to fight it unconditionally.

Will you be first over the top? Better be since you cheer lead for mass destruction and war.

I'll be the first in your face. And by the way, you make many assumptions regarding my travel history in the "formerly Communist" parts of the world. Don't assume....

Is the Axis treaty of 7/16/2001 a fantasy? How about all of the overt military assitance to the PRC? A fantasy as well? Tell me about some more so called fantasies....

An Axis is forming... indeed, unconditional total war is the only way to stop it.

OK, outline what you think would be the BEST way for the US to engage in said war.

Kissenger truces and anything was policy of reality the alternative was nuclier annihilation. Why Cold war didn't become Hot? Today there is same alternative.

You better engage on american corporations which trade with China. If China will not have US dollars then it will not have russian arms anymore.

You're getting carried away. Russia and China are more likely to go to war with each other than either of them are with us. I've been to both Siberia and northeast China and from what I saw and heard, it's hard to believe there's a genuine alliance forming between them. All they can agree on is the need to restrain US power. If it weren't for our superpower status and our prosecution of wars without UN approval there'd be no substance to the Sino-Russian axis whatsoever.

It all boils down to the fact that the costs of confronting Russia and China are far too great to ditch diplomacy. We simply don't have the capability to invade either country or penetrate their airspace with anything close to the level of immunity we've grown accustomed to. Total war against the heads of the Axis sounds nice, until you start considering how many lives it will cost. I'll start taking your suggestion seriously if you're the first to volunteer on a march to Beijing and Moscow.

We might want to start in Central/South America. The Chicomms have not so quietly developed some very dangerous footholds in our hemisphere...thanks, of course, to RATS amongst us.

OK, oh wannabe Clausewitz...how do you propose that the US fight this war?

A good start might consist of renewing SEATO and rearming ourselves to handle more than 2 MRC. Also, our wunderkinder inside the beltway need to learn where the Strait of Malacca is on the world map.....
