Yeesh. Texas Southern? Scared of THAT, and you know I don't scare easy.

Exactly. The only redistricting hearing in the Houston area is scheduled in the middle of the ghetto. I think my civil rights to go to a hearing at a safe location are being violated

Exactly. Heck, even neighboring UH would have been better. After all, tt's not like TSU is even going to be effected by redistricting or anything. After all, what's the likelihood that they will be moved out of Sheila Jackson Lee's district and deny her royal heinous that loyal voting block? Oh well. At least they didn't put it at HCC-Northline. That's where they did one a few years ago and it is scarier than TSU.

Dunno yet. If scheduling permits I'll come. Otherwise I will try to provide them w/ written testimony, or perhaps make a trip to Austin during the special session.

Keep me posted on that idea. I love road trips.

These meetings are on short notice. We are lucky that the Houston meeting is on Saturday and not on Thursday.

Is it really in a bad neighborhood? Do I need to contact Q(X) and get a ghe--- pass?

That wouldn't be a bad idea - it's a very, um, ethnic neighborhood.

Probably done to thin the ranks of potential participating Conservative voters / citizens like many of us who are following the redistricting issue closely. It won't intimidate me though but I might want to consider leaving my southern "Rebel" B-ball cap at home, you think!? Hehehehe...

Actually its to discourage WHITE lemosine liberal Democrats from attending. The Republican plan adds minority districts at the expense of ones now held by White democrats.
