A slow moving rainstorm parked itself over the city's East End last night, drenching parts of Homewood, Squirrel Hill, Highland Park and Point Breeze with more than three inches of rain, causing flooding on roadways and in the basements of homes and businesses.

The rain here has been nuts. I am making long term plans to move to South Carlina (because of the economy, not the rain) but this is amazing. It is too bad I can not sell all the grass I have had to cut.

I went to CMU about twenty years ago - used to live on Forward Avenue. Murray avenue used to be the only place in the area to get bagels. (How times have changed!)
