Are you talking about a little fine for Mr. Brazelton??? I don't know if that statement was really a violation. It didn't discuss evidence. But it will depend on what how the Judge views it. I at least now see the reason for the DA going the Prelim route. They intend to cut Geragos and McAllister off at the knees and stop their incessant string of "theories"!! You can bet Geragos didn't like it!! Far as I can see tho, all this indignant bluster by Geragos is going to piss the Judge off at some point and that point may be very soon. Besides he's buring the Judge in an avalanche of paper.!!

And MG's incessant use of the phrase "grave misconduct" is becoming a little tired also. He's a total arse. I wonder, if deep down, he's almost sorry he took this case. I guess money is money. But from someone who lives with the law and works in that field, I'm thinking that other criminal Attorney's may be about to send a few emails to Geragos. He's becoming an embarassment to the profession. His theory a day and 'gonna get the real perpetrator" is becoming tired.

Although I find some defense lawyers antics beyond the pale,I know a good judge and a trial wipes out a lot of foolishness.Many trees must die for before Geragos gets all his motions filed!How would you like to have to read all of them and rule!On second thought ruling might be a pleasure.

...Corrections to two articles that appeared in the Friday edition of the Modesto Bee.

In a story on Page A-1 Friday, Stanislaus County District Attorney James Brazelton said that results of a nine-month investigation of Modesto Mayor Carmen Sabatino could go before a criminal grand jury in coming weeks.

A separate story, also on Page A-1 Friday, reported that Brazelton said Thursday that he hopes soon to ask a criminal grand jury to indict Sabatino.

Brazelton did not say he hopes to indict the mayor, only that he favors presenting the results to a criminal grand jury and letting that body determine whether Sabatino violated any laws.

In an interview with The Bee, Sabatino said he did not detect "much grief" when he met with Scott Peterson; those comments were not in a memo he wrote following the meeting.

Just because he stayed on the cellphone while Laci's mother was looking in trash cans,just because he can't show his grief,just because he was calling Amber after Laci disappeared(a lot),just because he moved the search to the LA area,just because he went fishing 90 miles from home on Christmas Eve day and really had less than 2 hours to fish,just because the bodies of Laci and Conner washed up on a nearby beach,just because he changed his appearance,carried some one else's ID and 10,000 dollars when arrested near the Mexican border I must withhold judgement and just strongly suspect!

I'm predisposed to believe he's guilty because I watch several programs on Court TV. The bests ones are about forensics, plus Cold Case Files and another one with a lady profiler who helps solve strange cases - 99% of dead wives are killed by their husbands.
