The fact that we haven't found Saddam yet is proof positive that he never really existed. Isn't that what the democRATs are saying about WMD?

"We were misled," Howard Dean

Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, said that Mr. Bush "misled every one of us."

Terry McAuliffe, the Democratic National Committee chairman, said that Vice President Dick Cheney's assertion on March 16 that Mr. Hussein might have "reconstituted nuclear weapons" left the administration with a "huge credibility gap."

"We were misled," Howard Dean, a rabid liberal, a complete idiot, and a Democratic presidential hopeful, said today on the NBC News program "Meet the Press." The United States was led to war, he said, "based on facts that turned out not to be accurate. I think that's pretty serious."

O.K., I remember that one of Clinton's wars was based on claims of genocide that turned out to be mostly fabricated. Does anyone remember the specifices (I realize that it has only been a few years, but I have tried to block most of the Clinton years out of my memory).

If they are floating this, they know. They must have radio traffic coming from the convoy, pre-hit, that made it certain.

Roberts is a solid citizen with high level access to intel. They must have got at least one of them and the evidence to prove it.

I remain convinced that SH and his sons were killed on 3/19. Remember the article recently about his daughter who claimed not to have heard from any of them since then.

It serves our purposes to keep the myth going that he is alive. It gives us the excuse for Desert Scorpion. We are going door to door in search of the 3 missing aces and in doing so, are rooting out dozens if not hundreds of Ba'athists and confiscating their caches of weapons. If SH is assumed to be alive long enough, we'll have searched every house in Iraq and arrested every Ba'athist left in that country. We may have even been told by some of the captured leaders that he's dead, but since we have no proof, ignorance can still be claimed.

It also serves the purposes of the Ba'athists to keep the myth going that their fearless leader is still alive. Once they know their leader is dead, they know there is no hope for them to re-emerge as a ruling force in Iraq.

So the fiction continues as long as it serves the purposes of those with dogs in this fight.

'And King Abdullah of Jordan told a television interviewer that he understood Mr. Hussein had been traveling in the part of Iraq where the attack was reported to have occurred. '

He would know of course.

And King Abdullah of Jordan told a television interviewer that he understood Mr. Hussein had been traveling in the part of Iraq where the attack was reported to have occurred

This is either awesome disinformation on the part of King Abdullah and he is aiding our intel community

Or King Abdullah runs in suspicious circles and is privy to sources that make him far less than a friend.

If we were wrong, and he didn't have WMD, which I doubt is the truth anyway, I'm glad about what we did. Iraq is just the first Islamo-Nazi country that we disassemble. (Even though they were technically not an Islamic-ruled country)

Next!

Polls show that Americans don't believe this is a big issue, as far as finding WMD's. Saddam at the very least, is not ruling Iraq anymore. That's a good start.
