During the coverage of howard Dean announcing his Presidential Candidacy he got FREEPED big time by a Green.

About 7:35 into the speech someone holds up a HUGE Green and black sign on what must be a 10 foot pole. On one side it says "NADER 7% IN VERMONT" and the other "VOTE FOR GREEN PARTY". The sign is RIGH BEHIND Dean's head and the graphics appear larger than the DEAN sign on his podium. At about 14:00 the Dean guys are losing it since the sign is right next to or behind Dean's head. At about 14:00 into it, some Dean guy tries to sit up on a stepladder behing Dean with a tiny sign trying to block it. About 17:00 the Deanies start duwling with the Nader sign trying to cover it. It's very distracting and takes all the attentiona way from Dean's boring speech. 20 minutes ito the video the Deanies start a picket wall to block the sign but it is still clear. It's not really well covered for 20 minutes and 25 minutes in they continue to duel. They clearly were unprepared for this. ROFL

Very very funny and a lesson we can learn from.

I just rewound the real player clip and could imagine the JAWS theme being played as this big sign stalks Dean like a shark fin!

It says USUALLY by a Freeper. This is a case where someone was protested not by a Freeper, but in the case of left on left Freeping, it's still freeping IMO.

Dean has been sending a dirty tricks brigade to every Kerry event.....so this little triumph of the GREEN is quite delicious.

I haven't seen it but does anyone remember the scene in the movie "THE WAY WE WERE" (I know, I know, it's BS Barbara Steisand, but I LOVE this movie). Anyway, she's giving a Communist party speech and she seems to be winning over the crowd, but then behind her signs are held up.."ANY PEACE...BUT KATIE'S PIECE!!!!! Eveyone starts laughing and when she turns and sees the signs she bolts from the stage after calling everyone Fascists! It's a hoot!
