I hope they find her! I don't mean to kick the parents when they are down, but did they learn nothing from the Samantha Runion case? I wouldn't let my 6-year-old walk to a friend's house, unless he were in my sight the whole way. Most of the families on my block let their kids roam all over the place. I don't. And when the neighbor kids leave my house after playing with my kids, I stand out in our yard and watch to make sure they made it home.

That's what is so disturbing. This is the Iron Range. It's like Hobbiton. Things like this just do not happen.

God bless you Soccermom. I always did the same with my children's friends. Even when they got older, we would make sure they got in the house when dropping them off.
