What I am concerned about is not the rules per se, but the legalism that comes through them.

Don't free people have the right to choose to live in and subject themselves to whichever "legalistic" environment they wish? I'll reiterate; my opinion is that many of the rules in that place should more correctly be referred to as the waste product from a chicken. However, if mommy and daddy want to foot the bill for junior to live under said rules, seems to me that is their call.
