My sister had a clot that was life threatening many years ago. She's fine today. She teaches school, sails, and loves to travel. She made one change in her life -- when she's on a long trip she makes an effort to walk around every hour or so.

Please keep the prayers coming at light speed and for the complete pain and clot to be gone out of my body. I am expected to have pain for at least another 6 or 7 weeks since the clot is in a vein in my lung still. The body is dissolving it. Anyone on here with personal stories or advice and what my life will probably be like from now please feel free to add your comments and thoughts.

FR is like another family for me and I so appreciate again the words and prayers...work is yet to be done but I have a completely different outlook and feeling on this sweet miracle of life.

Dear, Dear Doug What a joy to see your post -g-

Back in 83' I nearly lost my life with many multiplying clots in my lungs. And I want you to know here I am TWENTY years later (smiles).
Heparin also saved saved my life, had the IV hookup , which I fondly called Charlie, for nine days.
The two things I remember vividly to be cautious with were shaving and depletion of iron. Low iron also almost killed me a year ago today. So please talk to your MD about it.

God Bless you and May God and his Angels heal your pain rapidly and know there is a design for you to be here.
