U.S. Soldier Dies from Wounds in Iraq Attack

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A U.S. soldier who was wounded on Tuesday in an attack on his military convoy in Iraq has died from his injuries, the U.S. military said on Wednesday.

The death raises to 23 the number of Americans killed by hostile fire in Iraq since President Bush declared major combat over on May 1. Two other Americans who had gone missing died under uncertain circumstances and six British soldiers were killed a week ago in the south of Iraq.

If I hear the media quote the 60 figure again I swear I am going to jump through the Internet and strangle someone.

The question isn't whether were doing enough to stomp out the Saddam loyalist. The question is whtether were doing enough to prevent accidents, which have proven to be a lot more deadly then Saddam loyalists.

Use the FreeRepublic Search Engine, search "all" and use these words "Al Qaeda" and "Iraq." There is plenty of information, reports, and of course discussion which clearly connects the info dots as to how Al Qaeda and Iraq are connected.
