The Navy jet that ferried President George W. Bush to the USS Abraham Lincoln to announce the end of major combat in Iraq will land permanently this month at Pensacola's National Museum of Naval Aviation.
The Viking S-3B, dubbed Navy One after the president's May 1 flight, is scheduled to land at Pensacola Naval Air Station on July 15, said retired Vice Adm. Jack Fetterman, president and chief executive officer of the museum's foundation.

Yep, we no longer need the S-3 Viking, because our brand new F-18 SuperHornets have been found to perform best as flying tankers, rather than fighter/attack planes.
GRRRR.

Bush's flight to the Lincoln, his emergence on deck in a Naval flight suit and the nationally televised address that followed has been criticized by some as a taxpayer-funded, re-election advertisement. Only by jealous Democrats.
