The photo in Post #50 is a Burp Gun, what the G.I.'s called the Soviet PPSh-41 7.63mm submachine gun. This was the primary Soviet infantry weapon of the Great Patriotic War, millions were made, and Uncle Joe had plenty to send to Mao and Kim il Sung. Chinese human wave attacks with Burp Gunners in the first wave literally mowed down anything above ground in their path, hosing bullets out of their 71-round drum magazines in one continous roar that sounded like a giant belch. The 7.63mm round is just a slightly hotter .32 Auto, and the effective range of the PPSh-41 was about 100 yards, so it was more a weapon for assault and storm. Soviet military doctrine used them like long range bayonets.

I hate Communists, particularly in today's form called the DemocRAT(ic) Party...led by McAuliffe, Moscow Clinton, John Communist North Vietnamese War Hero Kerry, etc....
