Good thing he's in Arizona and not the People's Democratic Republic of Korea New York, otherwise I have no doubt he'd be looking at a prison term for 'taking the law into his own hands'.
God only knows how many other lives he saved by taking that scumbag down.

It's always good to have your gun in hand when answering the door to strangers.

A groin shot should have been first. Followed by a knee-capper and the testimony of poor marksmanship.
If somebody killed my love, they'd pay big time.

A man allegedly went to the home of Ray and Annie Friesen in Beaver Valley on Monday and asked to use their phone, saying his car had broken down. What the fu**, there seems to be a lot of alleged's here. I don't understand, women stabed to death, husband tied to chair. Why is this being alleged?
The sure thing about this alleged crime is that the ALLEGED perk is dead. Could not happen to a more deserving moron.

Hey Folks, I bought a house from Ray about ten years ago in Winslow AZ. Fine man, we had little money so Ray said put so much down and pay the rest monthly, I trust you!

License not required in Arizona and most western states to own a firearm. It is also our right to open carry.

The newspaper writer is obviously using "alleged" out of habit without thinking why it is normally used.
I remember how a story was reported locally
"A man who allegedly tried to rob a service station is in hospital after being shot by a customer"
Then he died.
"A man who attempted to rob a service station has died after allegedly being shot by a customer"

When I was in California in the 70s, the cops said that when a "stranded" motorist wanted to use your phone, tell him to give you the number and YOU would call it. THEN call the cops instead.
So far, I never had the chance to try it out but that seems like the better idea - if the person is for real, no harm done and you don't have a guilt trip for not helping somebody out.

If this elderly gentleman were so unfortunate to live in England, he would be jailed for owning an illegal weapon.

My house is at the edge of town. It's the first one the stranded motorists reach. I used to ask for a phone number and make the call. Now I hand them the portable phone (NOT a cell phone) and let them make the call. I also keep a gun handy.
