Katherine Harris alive despite Miami radio host's announcement (hate radio)

Miami's top-rated talk show host told its listeners Tuesday that Congresswoman Katherine Harris had died in a plane crash on Monday, according to the Web site at news partner NBC6.

"Katherine Harris is dead!" reported Rogers on the air, "I've got the news story right here, it's on the Internet. A plane crash! Yes!!"

Rogers would not comment on the mix-up on Tuesday, and he refused to release the transcripts of the program to reporters.

Has the station fired this guy yet? And if not, I hope listeners down there deluge the FCC with complaints about this.

For those not from the market, Neil Rogers is a devout homosexual/liberal, who spends most of his time in either Toronto or Amsterdam.

Very rarely is he actually in studio in Miami.

Also, I can imagine the way he said this, and don't believe that he actually thought she was dead.

Well, he's been on in Miami for 25 or so years, and usually wins the ratings books, so he must do SOMETHING right.

Like I said above, he CAN BE entertaining, but since the election (and especially the war) he's been on an Anti-Bush Crusade.
