I already sent Latourette an e-mail.

No vote for him when he's up for re-election.

A-yep. I had called Katherine Harris' (R-FL, 13th district -- my rep) office yesterday to urge her to vote 'AYE', but as we can see, she did not. Seeing as she's a member of the CFR, I can't say I'm surprised at this. Disappointed, yes, but not surprised.

When I was at one of the GOP rallies in Sarasota, I actually asked her about her CFR membership, and the look on her face was one of uncertainty at how to respond. I told her that this was a deep concern among many conservatives in her area that would otherwise support her, and her look changed to one that I can only describe as resignation.

Not everyone who voted to fund the UN is a "RINO". To abolish the UN is an isolationist stance. Not that it's a bad idea but I would prefer seeing us fund the UN on conditions- such as a reform of the Security Council with France being removed.

I disagree. We should not be in the UN. We, as Americans, should put the US first. When has the UN voted for anything in US intrests, without substantial payouts to it's voting members. Never. It's monetary extortion, pure and simple.

Only among conspiracy theorists, and Birchers, which is why she gave you the look she did.

You probably scared her to death.

Doesn't she sit in a safe district? Not sure there's much you could do to frighten her.

I'm not a big fan of the UN, but pulling out serves no real interest other than throwing a hissy-fit and making some left-over Birchers and Black Helicopter whackos feel better.

But, but, I thought the CFR didn't exist. I got flamed right here oh FR for mentioning the CFR. I was dubbed a member of the Tin-Foil-Hat brigade. Oh, and there's no such critters as the Bilderbergers or the Tri-Laterals either. You might want to take note to avoid confusion in the future.
