It ain't funny. The Geheimnis Stats Politzei EPA has too much power and needs to be shut down or cut down to size. They are the agents of those who prefer the rights of cockroaches and weeds to those of human beings.

This is normal for the feds. Incorrect reporting takes their time away from surfing the net and companies have to pay.

Why does this sound like extortion ?

I could understand if they tried to hide it .. but they didn't .. they just misunderstood the requirements

Let's see...the EPA notified Humbolt in 2000; they went through legal negotiations, paid a fine. Yeah, I'm sure Humbolt still doesn't understand and needs to waste time sending someone to a class.

What's really funny is that this incident will have cost EPA far more than $5,000. I'd bet that they've blown over $50,000 in audits, clerical time, letter writing, media press releases and interviews, and responding to trade associations, not to mention damage control expenses dealing with bad PR.

That's what's stupid.

I was working for a major grain processing company when this crap started.

I was considered an expert because I understood the EPA forms & regulations better than the "consultants" corporate hired to help us

I went on to get a lot of money from other companies for filling out their forms

I understood them well enough to keep my clients from paying fines, but I still dont understand them

I dont think anyone does
