Sen. Bob Graham Just Called for Impeachments On MSNBC Over Supposed Intelligence Failures
MSNBC ^ | July 17, 2003 | Buchanan and Press

Posted on 07/17/2003 2:09:23 PM PDT by ewing

MSNBC is running it as breaking news.. Graham said that there is no way that Tom Delay and the House will have impeachment hearings over the supposed intelligence failures (I assume he is talking about VP Cheney) so 'the people' will have to vote the offending partes out in 2004.

A desperate act of a Presidential candidacy and a political career expiring

It wasn't a dem who challenged the Iraqis to "Bring it on."

Actually, a quote like "Bring it on" conveys resolve and confidence.  Calling for the impeachment and removal from office of The President, conveys discord and lack of resolve.

"This doesn't rise to the level of impeachment..."

"Censure, and move on..."

Any other responses we can give the ol' Senator?

That's a better image to project to the remaining Saddam loyalists than one that we'll cut and run if things get too difficult. As long as the Saddamites think they have a chance to chase us out of Iraq, the attacks will continue.

From Graham's daily diary today:

2:00 Spoke with campaign manager on telephone, says it is time to "make a big stink"
2:15 Reviewed Democrat polls. Could not find my name anywhere, then saw it in footnotes under "Received less than 1%"
2:20 Hit the can
2:35 Consulted with Janet Reno, she always knows what to say, she said it was time to "make a ruckus"
2:47 Called Al Gore, he said that whole chad thing still burned him up, instead of Niger they should be talking about Chad
3:10 Called press conference, made sure Helen Thomas was in front row
3:15 Made total jerk of myself calling for impeachement of, like, whoever, that'll show 'em!

In the dem's minds, of course, "hey, it's only a few dead grunts from flyover country, who cares?"

BTTT -- and we'll never forget it.

You are right, Bill Mccollum is the most qualified, but least electable. I have signed up for the Mark Foley for Senate campaign. He is wonderful on the stump, unlike "THE PERFESSER". Baghdad Bob Graham has always been strange, however since his multiple task heart surgery he is "crackers",and gets worse every day. Check out the article in August Readers Digest about heart surgery, and memory problems. He was under a verrry long time, and it shows. I would like to see if there is a florida statute for removal of a sitting senator who is mentally unable to handle the job.

Why not? They can't get a Dem elected president, so they turn to the courts, as usual...

Didnt the Florida Courts recently rule that the public could see Grahams diaries under public records statues?

It wasn't a dem who brought down the Berlin Wall, or provided freedom for iraquis either. But a Dem did get us in the Quagmire of Vietnam and did not finish Korea, a dem blew up an aspirin factory and and took part in perversions with an intern (of course, the intern was a dem and most likely scum as well)in the oval office...most dems are scum.

Awesome idea! Subscribe for four free issues, then tell them to take a hike! What a bunch of louts over there at Time magazine. What a disgrace of a publication!

"It's all about sex" was just a distraction from the facts of the case. He was in court for a sexual harassment case and in the course of that case, he perjured himself. It was relevant to Paula's case to determine if he had a past history of affairs in the office (as well as rape and sexual harassment).

How was Paula Jones to get her day in court if it was "understandable" that he would lie about his bad boy behavior because "it's just sex"?

Even an anarchist like Ted Rall agreed that Clinton should be impeached and removed from office but the spineless Senate did not agree.

Those who claimed "censure and move on" dropped all notion of censuring Bubba (which would have set precedent) after he was safely left in office. Those who called for censure admitted that Clinton's perjury was wrong (but no one is ever sentenced for that crime...) and that he should be rebuked.

He did eventually lose his legal license.

We don't need to have a defense; to challenge the notion gives it "some" credence. It's a double standard and I won't play that game. Bubba lied. Bubba lied repeatedly. In speeches, on camera, and under oath. We can eliminate President Bush from lying under oath (that has not been alledged and was the only way that Bubba was prosecuted). Can a President be impeached for something said in a speech?
