I'll see your forgivness and raise you one. Forgive me and many others on this forum for simply making it clear that his actions have shown him to be less fiscally conservative than his predecessors, including Democrats. Regardless of how you end up voting, this needs to be constantly pointed out. Perhaps if it's pointed out enough, there will be a conservative capable of winning in 2004, or at least 2008.

But if we just keep sweeping his transgressions under the rug, it seems pretty clear that we'll just keep getting more of the same. What incentive would he and his benefactors have to change their course?
