I wasn't into politics during Reagan and Bush 41--were they this out of control then or is it getting worse?

I think it's much worse. Back then, about all they did was march and do protests like we do today.

I think we can thank the Clintons for this stepped-up polarizing of the parties. They invented advanced dirty fighting, IMHO.

"This sounds like something cooked up by the likes of Hillary Clinton and Terry McAuliffe!"

Wouldn't be surprised. Right out of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals (Shrillary interned for him.) Decent people can't conceive of operating in this manner, but we'd better start some serious war-gaming.

"You are damn right it's going to be brutal. Maybe it's a good thing! The neocon/paleo BS will close ranks and realize the real enemy. OK...I'm hoping at least!"

It's time we got over our little sensibilities and united. David Broder has suggested that we should have another Perot-type in '04 to teach us about the economy, so we may have to deal with that problem too.

We also need to realize that we think in terms of individual votes, where the evil ones think of how to produce how many "votes" they need, from whatever source. Back to the principles of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, well read and followed by Shrillary: "War by other means."

Bringing back memories. I stood on State Fair Avenue in Detroit as the Ronald Reagan motorcade drove up to GOP Convention Center in 1980, right up the block from where I was working.

Can you imagine, RR in Detroit!!! The launching pad of such greatness.

There were no protest to mention, hell, we had Carter with 12% inflation and a 21% interest rate...would could protest against change!

God Bless thank Man!

Way worse. Before there were "irregularities," as in Chicago 1960, but the Clintons have taken this to a new art form. Hillary should be studied back to her radical times in the '60's, because that is who she truly is and how her side is operating. Here's one place to start:

This is no different than when Conservatives and Liberals debate on TV. The Liberal speaks for two minutes, and then after the Conservatives gets two words out the Liberal starts interrupting, attacking, changing the subject, speaking over the Conservative, host, and everyone else. They teach that stuff to Liberals; it's no accident.

Nobody I talked to knew who they were. Their message, from what we could tell, was anti-war and anti-Karl Rove. They were college aged and dressed appropriately for the event.
If I do find out who they were I will let you know.

Protestors don't have the right to interfere in this manner. It's important that they be fined...at least we can then donate that money to the Bush re-election campaign, which I'm sure the protestors will love. Rove deserved better security though- live and learn.

Expect all possible dirty tricks and a nasty October '04 surprise.

Hillary will replace the nominated candidate between 10/2/04 and 10/9/04.

I don't think the method has been determined yet (assassination vs. scandal vs."health problems"), but I could be wrong.

LOLOL.....Drudge overdramatizing!! Ya think! His headlines are often way over the top, but then NewsMax does the same.

It's just their way of begging for attention.
