This is no different than when Conservatives and Liberals debate on TV. The Liberal speaks for two minutes, and then after the Conservatives gets two words out the Liberal starts interrupting, attacking, changing the subject, speaking over the Conservative, host, and everyone else. They teach that stuff to Liberals; it's no accident.

Conservatives should start insisting that a condition of their appearance is that mikes be turned on and off, depending on who's to be answering the question. Coulter handled herself quite well on Hannity and Crusty'sFriend's Show last night, but I don't think she ever did get to finish a sentence.

I would say that's it much worse now, than back then. The left has always been more active than the right, with protest-type activities. The kooky left has always been out there, and they are more and more involved in protests, both locally and world-wide.

Rush is right about this, both for the Dems in Congress and the grassroots left. The more they slip from power, the more desperate/wacky they get. I would concur with his assessment and just say that it's even worse than he says.

Although it doesn't apply to this Rove event (no laws were broken apparently), the general difference between ANY protests that are staged is that Republican/conservative protests tend to be lawful and law-abiding. Democrat/liberal protests tend to be lawless and law-breaking.

The best Republican protest in the last 5 years might be the "Miami buttoned-down mob" (our guys) showing up during the Florida chad fiasco. It had the desired outcome!

The 2nd best Republican protest might be the current recall effort of Governor Blah Davis in CA....we'll see!
