Note to hosts of any pro-Bush/conservative speakers: Be Prepared. Anyone know who organized the "protestors"? Obviously it wasn't Young Republicans. The '04 election is going to be BRUTAL. Expect all possible dirty tricks and a nasty October '04 surprise.

25 protesters hiding at Capitol Hilton burst into frenzy

Frenzied is their natural state. No "bursting" here.

The worst part is, these campus Brownshirts will probably receive class credit for this attack from their communist professors.

Oh, these little punks will go far in polite society, won't they? Sickening!

Maybe if a few guards stood around with fire extinguishers at the ready....

I would guess these are ANSWER's boys. I've said it before, I'll say it again; the libs came up with this idea of using RICO against groups they don't like. It works *real* well.

Its time we start using the same kind of strong tactics. We aren't going to beat the Dems by being nice and quoting Robert's Rules of Order!!!

The HATE these people have is unbelieveable. Perhaps we need a "hate crime" law to protect us.

Trying to supply a little context:

When's the last time anyone saw conservative protesters bum rush a stage when a Rat was speaking?

When's the last time conservative protesters laid down in a road to protest a war being prosecuted by a Rat president?

You get the idea....

I heard about this on a local radio station here in Maryland and from what I gathered it was just an interuption, not a speech ending protest. I think Drudge over dramatizes things sometimes

They don't fool around with protesters in Cambodia ;-)

"Top cop threatens rioters with elephants
Tue Jul 22, 7:24 AM ET

PHNOM PENH (Reuters) - Cambodia's tough-talking chief-of-police is so keen to keep the lid on any possible violence after this weekend's general elections he is even thinking about drafting in riot elephants.

"We are ready to crack down if there are any violent demonstrations after the election results have been announced and accepted by national and international observers," police chief Hok Lundy told a meeting of around 200 security officials on Tuesday.

"Our policemen have 30 dogs at hand and the military police have even asked me to buy elephants to stamp on protesters," he added.

A dispute over the results of the impoverished and politically riven southeast Asian nation's elections in 1998 led to mass demonstrations on the streets of the capital. Several people were killed in clashes with police.

After comments by Hok Lundy in February that police would "swat" any unruly demonstrators, authorities have taken a tough line on large gatherings, prompting calls from opposition and human right groups they are stifling free speech during the campaign.

Despite widespread reports of voter intimidation in the run-up to this year's polls, the overall political atmosphere this year is calmer, election observers say.

Kep Chuktema, governor of the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh, had a less severe message for the policemen crammed into the city hall, telling them to keep their strength up with a healthy diet.

"Please, all you security people, keep drinking fresh milk to improve your health and so be ready for work," he said.

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) of Prime Minister Hun Sen, a one-eyed former Khmer Rouge (news - web sites) soldier said to be as tough as his police chief, is widely expected to win the July 27 elections."

I was there and the protestors were only a minor disturbance, lasting only about 30 seconds before being chased away. The crowd of 1000 enthusiatic College Republicans responded by chanting "we love Karl" and "USA! USA! USA!"
The protesters were seated with College Repulicans and would have had to pay for the meal in order to be there. I wonder if they considered it worth their time and money to make complete asses of themselves.

Some 25 protesters hiding at Capitol Hilton burst into frenzy

A sparrow bursts into song. A liberal bursts into frenzy.
One of the key differences between the two species.

This is no different than when Conservatives and Liberals debate on TV. The Liberal speaks for two minutes, and then after the Conservatives gets two words out the Liberal starts interrupting, attacking, changing the subject, speaking over the Conservative, host, and everyone else. They teach that stuff to Liberals; it's no accident.

Protestors don't have the right to interfere in this manner. It's important that they be fined...at least we can then donate that money to the Bush re-election campaign, which I'm sure the protestors will love. Rove deserved better security though- live and learn.
