I don't disagree that we are in a death-spiral.

The problem I have is how do we go about getting ourselves, our country moving in a better direction?

The only answers I have come up with to this question are..

When my husband and I were out in California in May, I noticed that one of the rest stops along the freeway had three restrooms: male, female and unisex. Needless to say, we didn't go back to the unisex one.

So help me God, I will never, ever visit California. To hell with them! You know they say, "First California, then the rest of the US." If this is a trend, where the heck do we live with our values intact? This crap is getting out of hand - fast.

Can't fire the poor thing after all, "she's" got the 10% co-pay portions of her three reconstructive surgeries left to defray. Of course, we all helped retire the debt on other 90% already.

You raise a good point about unintended consequences. By trying to consolidate their power they may disperse it.

What if your religious beliefs won't allow you to endorse this behavior by hiring them at your private business? Doesn't that violate YOUR civil rights???

To answer that question, a liberal would have to know whether you're a Christian or a Muslim.
