Here is the link to the bizarre and eery communist North Korean TV News yesterday, showing the 'festivities' in Pyongyang on the 50th Anniversary of the Armistace of the Korean War.

The scenes of mass idolotry at the foot of a huge golden statute of deceased N. Korean leader Kim Il-Sung is most digusting and disheartening.

Real Audio stream, works best if you have broadband. Copy and Paste. It will first say "Document not found" but after loading, the 1 minute color video will come up.

North Korea strikes me as less of a country and more of some bizarre cult. With nukes.

15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by the hands of men.
16 They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but they cannot see;
17 they have ears, but cannot hear, nor is there breath in their mouths.
18 Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them.

Psalm 135 (NIV)

Not a very dense crowd, compared with many "sports-type" crowds seen here.

Flowers are a poor copy of the massive adulation of Princess Di (The woman who Hillary's wants to copy in terms of mass adoration!) at her funeral.

The "arranged displays" of people seemed military-like in the formations.

Was Roger Clinton there to celebrate with his pal Kim Jong Il?

My first impression, watching the mass marches and dances, was of the black-and-white films of thousands marching before their beloved fuhrer in Germany.

No. But there are both videos and still colors of Roger Clinton, the very brother of the President of the United States, indulging in a very deep, sustained idolatrous bow at the foot of the Golden Statute of Kim Il Sung, when he was in Pyongyang about four years ago.

Wait till you see a full scale, grand, terrifying military parade/march through Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang. It is like nothing you could ever believe. I have a 90 minute tape of one. North Korea = Evil incarnate. I think even a liberal Democrat would have second thoughts after one viewing.

Progressive democrats, would love to live in a North Korean
modeled state, as long as they were in the control group.

They are as much of a cult as the N. Koreans!

No way! You have been away from home too long. Everytime I think my opinion of liberals couldn't sink any lower, they surprise me.
