Let BRAVO Know What You THINK About Their Homosexual Agenda!
07/29/03 | Kieri

Posted on 07/29/2003 6:25:52 AM PDT by Kieri

This morning I decided to let BRAVO have an earful. Here is my email:

"As a DirecTV subscriber, I am notifying you I am permanently blocking BRAVO from my menu on my DSS receiver.

Your push for homosexual-'friendly' programming demonstrates your pandering to an audience that exhibits behavior that is not only detrimental to their own health, but the health and safety of families everywhere. I refuse to risk allowing my children to see promo material on your channel, so I find it necessary to block BRAVO and will encourage others to do so. Your advertisers will no longer reach me or my family members, and I have let DirecTV know of our all too easy decision to block BRAVO.

You may consider a homosexual audience on worthy of pursuit, but families who treasure their own lifestyles think otherwise."

I encourage others to let both BRAVO and their cable/DSS companies know that you're blocking their agenda-pushing programming!

BRAVO's "Contact Us" page is here:

"If you want to watch queer shows, that certainly is your prerogative. Others of us would rather not and many of us are aware of the deception that's going on."

Actually, as I've said several times in this thread, I have no interest in such shows. Nobody's forcing me, or you, to watch them at all. I'd think that would be impossible.

So, I don't watch them. I don't watch "Batchelorette" either, or any such nonsensical shows. They're stupid, in my opinion. I prefer reading, usually non-fiction.

However, I do not stretch my dislike for such programming to a call for some deity to "blow us off the planet." I think you go too far.

molest young people (pedophilia) at a far greater rate than heterosexuals;

is just PATENTLY and verifiably untrue. The reverse is true, actually.

*** *** ******* ***

actually it is homosexuals who are more likely to be molesters.

In fact of every molestation case in the criminal court system that i have seen on the dockets has been a homosexual male.

Because it normalizes their behavior. If gays seem to be just like everyone else, why, it must be okay to be gay.

I knew lots of homosexuals while growing up but it never interested me as a lifestyle. Maybe some of us are more heterosexual than others.

Yeah, but maybe some of us have also earned a living working in the porn industry as a film editor. Care to recite your film credits for FR's conservative audience?

I have no comment one way or the other on the whole "gay Bravo" thing, but I can tell you that the days of your local cable companies only offering "take it all or take a hike" packages are going to come to an end. It won't happen tomorrow, but it will happen over the next few years.

I think the major cable/satellite companies will close ranks to defend their failed marketing model. But the first one who breaks for this option will clean up on it.

FOX and Fox News are entirely different. Fox News just has news shows and news analysis shows. Fox is supposedly a family channel but it's not anymore.

But but but, the lamestream media says that Fox is biased to the conservatives. And that Mr. Murdoch is biased to conservatives (he publish Michael Moore's book).

Of course the tv shows on Fox may be entertaining to FReepers: Simpsons, Married With Children, and other shows are hardly "conservative". The reality tv shows aren't necessarily "conservative" either. Fox is hardly "conservative" just like FOX News' Alan Colmbes and even Bill O'Rielly are hardly conservative. Alan is open about it, Bill isn't.

Don't believe the hype.

Excuse me, which 'behavior' is being normalized on Queer Eye? Having good taste, dressing well, cooking, and good manners? Or are you projecting your ideas on to a ashow you obviously have not watched.

I'm not saying that. I'm saying that it normalizes homosexuality so people think it's not so bad. It IS bad and it's not normal and people die horrible deaths because of it.

They have made the decision to live as they do.

I personally don't believe they have. I didn't make the decision to be "straight". I was just born this way. I don't believe anyone makes a "decision" to be straight or gay. It has to do with genetics or hormones or DNA or chromosomes or whatever. But it's certainly not a decision. Did you "decide" to be straight?

I'm not telling him to do that. I say the sin in our world is calling for a response from God and it's going to be nasty.

If gays seem to be just like everyone else, why, it must be okay to be gay.

If I was intolerant and close minded I could make the same sort of comment about deeply religious christians or blacks or purple aliens.

If christians seem to be just like everyone else, why, it must be okay to be christian.

See how hateful and unneccessary that is?

You're right!!! Queer TV is the ONLY place in America where kids can learn those skills!! God forbid we leave it to PARENTS to teach manners, morals and values, how to dress appropriately, or how to cook!!

Oh for heaven's sake. If the word "Queer" weren't in the title of the show, this thread wouldn't even exist. There is no gay sex on this show. NONE. The five guys are swishy as all get-out, but they don't spend the entire hour parading around in Speedos or anything. And every single episode is about helping a STRAIGHT guy clean up his act, usually for the express purpose of attracting a STRAIGHT girl. Some homosexual agenda.

When I was a kid, I was allowed to watch only 4 or 5 hours of television a week, always with one of my parents sitting next to me.

At first, I would watch cartoons, and then when I became older, I was allowed to watch football with my dad.

On the other hand, I always had a lot of time to do my homework, to build tree houses and my own toys, to learn to pull apart a whole car and put it back together again, etc.

Now I'm raising a little girl, and she watches Sponge Bob sometimes with me and nothing else, and I do not expect her to be allowed to watch any unsupervised television until she leaves home for college.

Any parent who uses television as a babysitter must be responsible for the filth fed to his child.

Yes, yes. As you can probably tell from my tagline, I dismiss this as mythology. All these things, and worse, have been going on throughout history. No sign of your deity destroying so far.

I didn't say anything about Fox being conservative. It's more so than the others but I never proclaimed that it was conservative. I was just pointing out the difference between Fox 'family channel' and Fox News.
