I just called and asked the lady who answered to speak to one of the eleven Texan democrat legislators hiding out in their hotel with the full cooperation of their governor.

Without missing a beat, she transferred me to management.

This nice man said that he could not connect me, but he could take a message.

My message...."I am from Missouri and have no dog in this fight, but I am laughing at the big old dem Texans who run from a fight and your governor who thinks it is just dandy to protect them. The whole country is watching yall. If I were at your hotel right now, I would demand my money back and sue you for allowing this disruption in my stay."

Evidently, they are getting a lot of calls and have set up a special line.

I've always had a lot of respect for Texas, but if you let those weasels get away with hiding in a motel in New Mexico, you'll lose everyone's respect.

I'm sure you have heard about the recall in progress in California. I'm a supporter in that recall, and so are most of the people I know. There has to be something you all can do to punish those lawbreakers and set an example. We're pissed off at Davis, and you can bet your constituents are pissed off at the little weasels running and hiding instead of doing their job. Tell me, are the taxpayers footing the bill for their hotel rooms and food/drinks????????? Kick their butts Texas style!!
