I blame satan, Muhammad and all of the adherents of Mein Koran that have propelled the disgusting Death Cult called "Islam" forward. I blame Christians (myself included) for this failure and it sorrows me that now, the time for conversion is over and the time for war has come. Haha. Very funny. In a sophomoric sort of way. But the truth is I happen to be as forthright with my opinions in person as I am virtually, which I suspect is not true of many a strutting bigot here.

Having lived till recently in a college town, I often found myself as the only conservative in a room full of liberals, and never (beyond the requirements of mere civility) withheld or softened my views. And at Eid celebrations in both '02 and '03, as the only "infidel" in a room full of Muslims, I was equally vocal with support for the Iraq war, the Bush administration and other matters. Several of the Muslims there agreed, btw, including a young man who was very vocal even though it was principally a religious mentor of his I was arguing with.

Again, what I'm objecting to here is the effective (and bigoted) echoing by freepers of our enemy's propaganda: that theirs is the true, legitimate and only interpretation of Islam. That's just b.s. Sure, I'm aware that there are loads of "fake moderate" Muslims out there, but there are real moderates too. The unwillingness to admit this is nothing short of bizarre.

By his own testimony Allawi is an observant Muslim, but of course you again echo the rhetoric or our enemies.

The only thing I'm defending and encouraging is the right of Muslims to differ from Bin Laden. Your argument, at least a part of your argument, but very near the core of it, is that, as Muslims, they should agree with him because he's right about Islam. Your argument is stupid, counterfactual, bigoted and at odds with the aims of the United States and free people generally. Thats all I'm saying.
