Hahahaha... its schadenfreude to witness the Reuters wire service liberals being sued by the slaves. They must be getting restless on the liberal plantation.

I don't have any problem believing that it really happened. Knowing liberals and their mindset, they think that just because they are the "compassionate" ones, that they can do stuff that they would call conservatives racists for the same thing. Remember, the DNC firing the black employees. Also, several Dim politicians have been known to tell politically incorrect jokes.

Well I see the cowards are finally turning on each other. Good. It's nothing but a spiral downward and nothing positive can come of it.

But dumbos can never figure that one out.

I think the origins of the British term may come from the idea that graduates of Brit "public" schools will go into "public service", ie they are being trained for govt office, as opposed to the American definition of "being open free to the general public"
<<<

No, it is a great example of how our language has become perverted. It just meant that it was not a government school. In other words it was owned and run by the public not the state. The word "public" in reference to ownership has been completely corrupted by the Left ("public ownership" sounds better then "state ownership").

It is however, correct to say that British "public" schools tend to be (ok, are all) snooty and elitist.

I'm getting a little freaked our here in fly over country. First the NYT's is caught and is still being caught in deseminating outright lies, then the BBC is basically nailed for misreporting in the Iraqi war and perhaps misquoting a scientist leading to his suicide death, and now REUTERS- an org so biased it basically has raised my blood pressure more than once (especially the last report last week that they totally changed the story of Jessica Lynch's homecoming, making it tawdry and full of misquotes and now THIS!!!

God must cleaning up our press corp...one organization at a time.

The class action is being assisted by celebrity lawyer Johnnie Cochran..

Class action lawsuit.....plaintiffs receive $1.98 each and attorneys are paid $30 million....yep, real classy...

I always thought it peculiar that private elitist schools in UK were called public schools. What are the common, really public schools called?

I haven't a clue. Pinging the BritishFriends bump list, in case one of them may see this and be able to answer the question.

Similiar to *bang_list. Search *CCRM in category "poster"

Where does one "search by category 'poster'"? I know how to check the last X number of posts to the tattered remnants of the once-proud bump lists (on active bump lists like the *bang_list you no longer can see more than the last few days' worth of posts), and I know you can do an "In Forum" of a given user from their profile page, but other than that...

Must be a browser problem. I'm hardly the guy to ask about this stuff. On the main News/Activism page there is a "Search" box. The default is Title Search. Press the down arrow and two other options appear-Keyword and Poster. Highlight Poster. Type *CCRM and you will arrive at a bumplist folder similar to *bang_list. How do you get to *bang_list now?

Best regards,
