I thought that the DemocRAT Party was the one for
'everyman' . . . these hotels require one to be rich to pay their fees. I hope that the rich Republicans stay away in droves. Keeping out FNC sounds like a typical DemocRAT business decision:
all emotion and no logic!

The way some of the big hotels usually work is that one entity will own one or more property (hotel & land) and the name chain will operate the property.

This gives them more control than in a franchise, where the owner of the property will also run the operations under standards set by the chain, and will receive advertising, reservation, and supply servies in exchange for the franchise fee.

I won't be chowing down on Ben & Jerry's at a Starwood Hotel anytime soon.

I'll be checking from now on no matter which hotel I am thinking of using... I'm going to ask at the point of making a reservation and "Excuse me, no Fox? Sorry, I'll choose another hotel."

Business owners have every right to offer Fox or not as they will... and customers have every right to not patronize establishments offering CNN only.
