How *breathtaking* sistah (((((Billie)))))!

Back in my flying days, I landed at Dallas/Ft. Worth several times to change planes, but never had the pleasure of doing any sight-seeing.

If I had just one region to pick (and your vignettes make that very difficult!) it would have to be the Gulf Coast so that I could tour the Houston Space Center.

I've been to Cape Canaveral several times so I definitely would want to see its counterpart.

A lovely and very interesting presentation. I hope to get there as a visitor someday!

Good morning, and thank you so much, Dansy! Somewhere in all the sites I visited to get additional information, I read that DFW International Airport alone is LARGER that Manhatten (I think it was) - but didn't include it because I couldn't remember exactly! (I went back to try to find it again when I did the part about Texas is SOOOOOOOO Big, and couldn't for the life of me find that statement.

There certainly are a lot of different landscapes and cultures in Texas. Still, the Hill Country takes first place with me - that's where we'll be the weekend of the 15th) :)
