Considering that there were about a dozen of those fired, how do they know this was the one that did the deed?Maybe this one, then?

Nice photo, but how do we know it just isn't a photo of urban training somewhere?

Looks like one of those seedy neighborhoods around Phoenix airport. Notice the utility pole to the right that's severed and just hanging by wires.

NewsMax has obtained a photo straight from Iraq . . . . Gosh, I wonder if they bought the copy of Newsweek, or if they waited to get the old copy from the employee cafeteria.

It was urban training. On live targets. In Iraq.

It's not the size of the missle that matters, but rather the skill of the operator in guiding it . . . . [wink]

Or, maybe this one?

Good point. They are just kind of hanging around out in the open. Almost like they're watching a turkey shoot, heeheehee.

Yep, that's it. I see their names written on the side of it. ;^)

Considering Newsmax's usual newsgathering methods, I'm amazed that photo doesn't have "© StrangeCosmos.com" superimposed in the bottom left corner.

Actually, it was a very upscale house - but we had been shooting at it for awhile and in this picture it doesn't look too hot. I've seen an original photo somewhere - and it was rather nice looking.

The house was in Mosul, I think. And it does look quite upscale to me, except for the fact that it seems to be missing a few bricks and windows and is apparently burning at the moment.

Looking at the houses around that one, none of them really seemed that upscaled....kind of surprising.

Nope! That's a test firing of a FAE.
