Prayers continuing for that precious little guy...

Logan, and all, have my prayers.
To: Brad's Gramma
He has beautiful color, I know a camera adds weight, but he does look like he is gaining. I'm praying that the flux in his body temp has more to do with his being premature than signaling an infection, Lord let it be so. A friend of mine's newborn had the same temprature flux at birth and is doing wonderfully well now.
He is so precious, I pray for his mom to get over her sore throat quickly. I can imagine how anxious she is. Lord please look after grandma, also, while she comforts her loved ones. In the name of Jesus, amen.

A rosary will be said for Logan and his mother today that hr sore throat clears up so she can be with her beloved baby. If I get to the church a candle will be lit for him and for her as well. This is tough for the mommy but they will get her cleared up soon and this is definitely tough for this little tyke but he's gonna make it too.
Look at all the long distance "aunts" and "uncles" he has acquired now. :) Everyone is pulling for him. I love the following quote:
"A baby is God's opinion that the world should go on." - Carl Sandburg
Keep fighting Logan...God bless you.

Prayers are on the way from this Grandma. We had a preemie in the NICU for 5 weeks in January and February this year. Please do keep us posted on his progress.

Dearest Logan I am praying for you and your Mommy. I hope with all of my heart that you will make your journey through this difficult time. I hope there is someone clsoe enough to you right now to lay their hand on you and comfort you. I will be thinking of you and praying for you.
Please add me to bump list!

FREEPERS....the first part I'm putting up here just came in, the second part was Logan's Daily Report. He needs prayer NOW. Thanks much.Well I just got a call from Logan's mom and the baby is not doing well at all.
He is now very lethargic and they can't figure out why. Please, please, please pray for him. It is so scary! I can't begin to tell you the fear in our hearts when there is no apparent reason for the down turn in his condition.
I'll keep you posted as I find out anything........
And now the original email from Nana
Hi to all....
Well our little one has had a couple of "not so good" days. It seems the week ends are hard for him for some reason.
On Friday morning, he began to have increased apnea episodes and so he was put back on oxygen. They are also having problems with his body temp becoming too cool, and difficulty in regulating it trying to keep him warm enough.
He is once again being given a broad spectrum antibiotic and we're waiting to see if the blood work shows any infection that they can pick up.
To make matters worse, his Mom has what we think is sinus, so she can't touch him for fear that it might not be sinus. And she wears a mask when she visits him. She has been to the doctor and is also on an antiobiotic just to try and thwart off anything it "might" be. Needless to say, she's worried about passing something on to Logan as well as any of the other little ones in the unit. She is not running a fever, and as long as she doesn't, they said she could at least visit him.
His weight is increasing. He now weighs 1 lb 13 oz.Friday he was 3 weeks old and 29 weeks term in his development.
So this little "termite" is chugging along. And fighting very hard to make it! The weight has made a difference in his appearance. His little cheeks really are beginning to fill out and now his lips are also filling out. While he looks a lot like his daddy, he does have his Mom's mouth.
He is just soooo sweet looking :) His little head is rounded out now and he beginning to take on more of a regular baby look. A miracle from God...... no doubt about that.
The staff is considering giving him another transfusion. They think that may help with the temperature adjustment. Again, to their credit, as soon as something starts going a little wrong, immediate actions are taken.
They don't just "watch and see what's going on". Every minute with these babies is so critical. I will tell you that it's terrifying when he has these bad times.
I've only know this type of fear a couple of times in my life, and it's not a pleasant feeling at all!
Please, please continue to remember Logan in your prayers. And also his Mom that she may get well and remain strong to give support to her infant. He definately DOES recognize her voice. When she talks to him, he reacts by some type of body movement.
When the nurses or I talk to him, there is none. Point proven :)
As of this morning, he is a "little" better according to his care nurse.
So here's hoping and praying that he's once again turned the corner and is on a better road again. I'll keep you posted when there is something more.
Our continued thanks to all of you for your caring, and prayers.
