Win2k is far more robust than 95-98-ME. They (mostly) fixed a problem that UNIX fixed 20 years earlier.

I think most windows problems resulted from legacy DOS support. Ironic, isn't it, the current meaning of DOS?

Most crashes now are related to hardware and drivers. Oddly, I'm seeing an increase in crashes due to bad memory chips. That is a new development in my experience.
