If you call electing a candidate who is for raising taxes, spending more, pro-abortion, for gun control, for the homosexual agenda, and who knows where on illegal immigration a win and a gift for republicans, you have an incredibly strange idea of conservatism. If this is the future of the republican party, there is no future for the republican party. Sure, they can win liberal votes by becoming liberals. Quite a pyrric (sp?) victory though, don't you think? But, to each his own. Apparently, the "R" next to a name is more important to you than any actual conservative ideas or goals. So be it.
