Type in your zip code, and you'll be able to email all your reps/senators, and President Bush. It's time to stop pussyfooting around with these nuts.
My Letter to each of them:
In light of yesterday's bombings, it is perfectly clear that there in no reasoning with terrorists.
You cannot compromise with evil. It is time to join Israel and take out not only Hamas, Hezbollah, etc., but Syria and Iran as well.
They are involved in yesterday's attacks, and it's time to unleash the hellhounds. Americans would not tolerate these kind of attacks, we should not expect the Israelis to.
Sincerely,
Jon Alvarez

The terrorists responsible for yesterday's attacks on the UN and Israel should not be allowed to hide in Syria and Iran.
A government that provides safe harbor for terrorists is just as guilty as the terrorists themselves.

I will pay for your ticket to get over to the Middle East.
We can talk about how to make it a fair transaction, but I am willing to spend my own money so that you personally can participate in this war of yours rather than some kid from Wisconsin or Iowa whom you have never met but are willing to so cavalierly put in harms way.
What city do you live in?
I will try to find a ticket on Orbitz that meets your schedule-- I assume you'll need a few days to get your affairs in order.

Dear Jon,
OK... here's your gun, and here's your parachute. Write us when you get the current Ayatollah to surrender.
Hugs,
Dubya

You people with this 'all war, all the time' are starting to go off the deep end. You want to defend another nation, pick up a gun, and go join their army. Perhaps you could explain to me why we should attack Syria and Iran? Do they represent a threat to these United States?

and it's time to unleash the hellhounds. Why? Because Syria is no better than the US at preventing illegal border crossings? Because for political reasons they turn their heads and look the other way? Now... where have we seen that happen before?
With what hounds do you intend to unleash this hell?

One can only assume that you'll be at the local recruiting station today to sign up to do your part, then?

Be enterprising. 37 isn't so old. There are Paramilitary groups all over the world who need your help. Don't sit around waiting for it to drop in your lap, take that first step. I'm still waiting on the "bring 'em on" crowd to open up resort's in Downtown Baghdad and Kabul just to show the rest of us twits how much safer it is over downtown DC. Blackbird.

Let's see, Iran was tagged by the U.S. Justice Dept. for being behind the Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia that killed scores of Americans. They are driving quickly to pursue nuclear weapons and have an advanced missile program. They are active terrorist sponsors including openly backing and arming Hezbollah. They are a nation we have fought in the recent past; primarily in the late 1980's that saw the Navy's largest naval battle since WWII. Yup, no problem here.
Geez, I guess 9/11 has taught us nothing. I guess nuclear weapons in the hands of anti-western Islamic states with terorist ties is nothing to worry about at all. Nope, no threat to our national security there.

If you were 'asleep' before 9/11, that is really not a cause to invade Iran but an appeal to an abstraction in attempt to end debate.

Based on the flames you're taking, I double checked to see if I'd logged onto LP instead of FR.
I guess the the answer to Darryl Worley's song is, "Yes, we have."

Some posters of this thread won't feel threatened by Syria or Iran or other Islamic terror states until the madness affects them personally. I guess 911 and all the sinister machinations behind that event weren't enough of a wake-up call to action. More terror is surely coming, so why passively wait for it?

LMAO. Sad, but true. Can't believe the Blackout didn't have a stronger effect. Kinda gave me a little kick in the seat. I'm back on preparedness mode.

BTTT. All indications are that the US understands that Syria and Iran are the ones allowing terrorists into Iraq and are prepared to do something about it....

What does Syria and Iran have to do with 9/11?
I believe in a well-armed citizenry and a decentralized government as the best defense; what do you believe?
