Lefty Catfight! (Call her Guv-to-be, not Mom)
The Indianapolis Star ^ | August 21, 2003 | Susan Estrich

Her children have voted with their feet. They didn't want her to run for governor of California. She ran anyway. On the day she announced her candidacy at "A Place Called Home," in South Central Los Angeles, her children moved out of hers in Brentwood and into their father's. "Our oldest daughter has been devastated by it," her dad said.

Susan Estrich is working for Boozamonte these days. Although, she does give Arianna a well-deserved carpet-whacking.

This is the second time I have agreed with Susan Estrogen. I loved her column on the Clintons.

The ease with which she has taken Hollywood by storm is an embarrassing confirmation of the shallowness of my hometown.

Why does Susan single arianna out???? Most of the candidates she supports and defends are equally shallow, hypocritical, and self-serving.

She exposes her as a total hypocrite, just like Hannity did on his radio show.

You're right. As she rambled on about Huffington, I was wondering if she railed against Betsy McCaughey who changed parties after serving as Lt. Gov. with Pataki.

Is she really working for the Big Boob? What a disappointment! I actually find Estrich to be one of the more honest and entertaining voices on the left; she calls 'em as she sees 'em. (Please don't flame me, that's just my opinion; even when I disagree with her, I usually find her likeable.) Sometimes, the way she talks, I think she is taking baby steps towards conservatism, especially the part about the 'toons "sucking the air" out of all the Democrats' campaigns.

I have also become somewhat of a fan of Susan. Ever since she wrote that column and said that the Klintoooons should just shut up and go away I have found a new respect for her....limitted as it may be.

I looked at that and thought someone had released a sequel to '28 Days Later.' Estrich wouldn't require significant makeup to play a bloodsucking zombie.

I have to admit an occasional agreement with Ms. Estrogen. She nailed the klintons and was blacklisted by the leftie editors for it, and in this column she calls bill maher a liberal, while he claims to be a "libertarian". Her honesty really honks off the RATs. But she's still hard to look at.

I rather enjoy watching her opinions. The voice is annoying, but I agree that for a lefty she's a lot more honest than most. As I recall, her campaign law comments during the 2000 fight in Florida were quite fascinating and not nearly as pro-Gore as one might expect.

HArd to look at and especially hard to listen to. But like others here there is somehting about her that I do like. I guess it's the fact that she is mostly honest about what she believes, as wacky as I find most of her beliefs. I did agree with her column about to Clintons I guess the only difference I had with her on that is that while she was writing it hoping they would STOP stealing all of the oxygen I was reading it and hoping that they would keep talking.

She also admitted, and as far as I know she is the only person on the left who has, that she knew all along that Bubba was lying about Jennifer, Paula, etc and that she was just taking one for the team by going on TV night after night to deffend him. WHile I find lying for your political cause despicable at least she later admitted it.

All in all I think she would be fun to hang around with one night and throw back a few and discuss politics. Although we would disagree on everything at least she does it with a smile and a laugh and not the typical seething rage of the laft.

" I actually find Estrich to be one of the more honest and entertaining voices on the left; she calls 'em as she sees 'em. (Please don't flame me, that's just my opinion; even when I disagree with her, I usually find her likeable.)"

I would never flame you, but I remember so strongly seeing her defend the Clintons when they were in the WH, using the same crappy arguments as all the rest of the Clinton cohorts. On one chat show, she was really weird; she was flinging herself backwards and forwards in her chair and throwing her hands around while she attempted to whitewash the Clintons. I wondered how the camera could stay on her; maybe she was on something. I thought, "She knows she's lying," and I will never, ever trust her.

Most liberals can be nice when they have to or when they are getting what they want. I have relatives who are liberals just like that. However, you never know when they are going to either bite your head off or start campaigning from their fraudulent moral high horse position as the enlightened and annointed ones. And they also lie a lot and without batting an eye, either. I have too much bad experience with liberals to ever trust one. When they seem nice or honest or sensible, it's just a matter of time till they get back on message. They back off when they're forced to; they're nice when they feel like it, but they never, ever quit.

There are only a few, genuine exceptions such as those who actually come around permanently like David Horowitz (hope I got his name right).

EXACTLY what I was thinking when I read your post! I guess Estrich rpoves the maxim: "Even a broken clock is right twice a day."
