An interesting article. The problem is simple - homosexual priests. And yet, the flag still flies:

Who cares whether his became a paedophile in order to come out of hte closet as gay...which makes no stinking sense to begin with, because those are two seperate neuroses.

He's a Catholic priest. He took a vow of CELIBACY. He is not supposed to have ANY sex, therefore orientation or criminal predatory inclinations are seperate from the crime he committed by going back on his vows to God.

I am so SICK and TIRED of this GAY AGENDA being RAMMED IN MY FACE EVERY DAY! Get OFF it already, you CREEPS!

"That would pretty much ensure that fruits stay away from the Church."

Are you kidding? The whole point behind this three year propaganda campaign and witch hunt against the Catholic Church is to get the Church to disregard the celibacy policy, allow priests to marry...and allow gay priests the same 'rights' as given to heterosexual priests.

This is a sad story about really sad, pathetic people. They ALL sound sad & pathetic, it's like some dime novel from the 1930s only homosexual in orientation.

And I like the bad language in this publication too, that's always a treat. When was it exactly that the grownups to to saying f*ck and sh*t all the time? I mean, not just saying it, but using it in writing.

"They ALL sound sad & pathetic, it's like some dime novel from the 1930s only homosexual in orientation."

Saddest of all is that, though they comprise less than one percent of our population, they are being allowed to set every aspect of our domestic policy.

The people running these so-called Catholic homosexual ministries and organizations should be charged under RICO for aiding and abetting sex offenders in their crimes.

It was for groups like these, and not peaceful pro-life organizations, that RICO was made.

"Doesn't matter. It is time fot the Catholic Church to allow married (heterosexual) priests."

It doea matter, because you know as well as I do that married heterosexual priests are not the real agenda here.

Years ago, both before and after I bowed out of organized religion (Catholic) in utter disgust I strongly believed that the RCC should take a page from the OCC and allow married priests. However, it became apparent 5 years ago that the idea had been hijacked by the gay lobby, and it has become nothing more than another morally equivilant, PC agenda being forced down the throats of a well meaning populace. By all means, go for married heterosexual priests in the RCC. However, be ready for a replay of the gay demand for extra privilege just the same as in the Episcopalian church, because gay married Roman Catholic priests are what THIS is all about.

My father's great friend, Ft. Joe Regan, told me circa 1970 when Berrigan et al were all marrying nuns, that it was funny how as soon as someone rocked the boat, these guys all jumped ship. His comment on that kind of priest was " How deeply did they really believe for the 25 years all those creeps had been priests." The lesson is not marrying, but the loss of faith and the concept of sin.

Not the kind of guy I would want to take Communion from. Te statement that looking at young boys like straight men look at young girls is a bit telling, its more the truth than you usually get in one of these stories, No matter what the shrinks tell you all gay men are latent pedophiles.

"The lesson is not marrying, but the loss of faith and the concept of sin."

I left organised religion over it's politics, not the word of God. Nothing can shake my faith in God. Organised religion was more than enough to shake my faith in my species. I'm comfortable with my choice and am still a Christian. Every story I read like this one only proves to me once again my decision was the right one.

To them, it's about changing the concept of sin to meet their own agenda. Live and let live is not enough. They demand justification through enforced respect.

My cousin left the Order before taking his vows as a Franciscan monk, because he knew he wouldn't be able to keep those vows. So he comprimised by marrying, keeping his faith and not making vows he knew he'd break.

THAT was a very moral decision.

"It's time for the Church"

Do you truly believe, and let's get realistic about the subject of marriage within the church. Economically it would be impossible for a newly ordained to take on a wife, unless she wants to live on bread and water and untill he makes a salary wherein he can afford steak and potatoes. What about the future progenies? One must practice what he preaches, then I forsee huge families, at whose expense??

the profession has become very unattractive because of the whole celibacy policy

>Of course, it is also possible that it has become unattractive because it is now a queer profession.
