Bustamante, MEChA and the media (don't let this story die!)

Bustamante, MEChA and the media Michelle Malkin

Now that Democrat Cruz Bustamante is California's gubernatorial recall front-runner, we can look forward to in-depth media investigations of the Latino candidate's long-held ties to the racial separatist group MEChA, right?

Ha.

While Katie Couric complains about GOP candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger being "the son of a Nazi party member" and international media outlets assail Schwarzenegger adviser Pete Wilson as "anti-immigrant" and "racially divisive," the liberal press has been stone-cold silent on Bustamante's connection to one of the nation's most virulently racist organizations.

As a student at Fresno State University in the 1970s, Bustamante was an active member of the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or MEChA, which stands for the Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan. Bustamante repeatedly denies having a "radical ethnic agenda," but has refused to disassociate himself from his Mechista roots. In fact, Bustamante recently returned to Fresno State for a separate Latino commencement ceremony founded by two of his Chicano activist classmates.

MEChA has been dismissed by some as a harmless social club, but it operates an identity politics indoctrination machine on publicly subsidized college and high school campuses nationwide that would make David Duke and the KKK turn green with envy. MEChA members in the University of California system have rioted in Los Angeles, editorialized that federal immigration "pigs should be killed, every single one" in San Diego, and are suspected of breaking into a conservative student publication's offices and stealing its entire print run in Berkeley.

MEChA's symbol is an eagle clutching a dynamite stick and machete-like weapon in its claws; its motto is " Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada (For the Race, everything. For those outside the Race, nothing)." The MEChA Constitution calls on members to "promote Chicanismo within the community, politicizing our Raza (race) with an emphasis on indigenous consciousness to continue the struggle for the self-determination of the Chicano people for the purpose of liberating Aztlan." "Aztlan" is the group's term for the vast southwestern U.S. expanse, from parts of Washington and Oregon down to California and Arizona and over to Texas, which MEChA claims to be a mythical homeland and seeks to reconquer for Mexico ( reconquista ).

MEChA's liberation agenda, outlined in El Plan de Aztlan, states defiantly:

"We do not recognize capricious frontiers on the bronze continent. Brotherhood unites us, and love for our brothers makes us a people whose time has come and who struggles against the foreigner 'gabacho' who exploits our riches and destroys our culture. With our heart in our hands and our hands in the soil, we declare the independence of our mestizo nation. We are a bronze people with a bronze culture."

Substitute "Aryan" for "mestizo" and "white" for "bronze." Not much difference between the nutty philosophy of Bustamante's MEChA and Papa Schwarzenegger's evil Nazi Party. To date, however, the only exposure Bustamante's MEChA history has received has been on the Internet.

In a critical article on Bustamante published by David Horowitz's FrontPage Magazine.com last week, Lowell Ponte notes that "Like Nazism, MEChA has acquired more than a tinge of racism. In their tactics to advance Latinos and 'La Raza,' many of its activists have directed racist attacks against not only white-skinned Anglos but also against blacks, Asian-Americans and Jews -- in fact, against every non-Latino group."

Popular Internet blogger Tacitus points out: "It's tempting to dismiss this as a youthful affiliation that means nothing today -- but that temptation would be wrong. There are certain associations that are socially tainting (and justly so) in the modern day, and they don't have statutes of limitations. Former Klansmen and former Nazis don't get a pass unless they spend a great deal of time and energy apologizing for and explaining themselves in a convincing manner."

Why should Bustamante, a public figure already known to have used a racial epithet in the past (he infamously used the word "nigger" while addressing a Black History Month event two years ago) get a pass? Or, for that matter, former California State Assembly Speaker and Los Angeles mayoral candidate Antonio Villaraigosa, State Assemblyman Gil Cadillo, State Sen. Joe Baca, and Arizona Congressman Raul Grijalva -- all unapologetic Mechistas?

Ms. Couric, I know you'll get to the bottom of this. They don't call you Hardball Katie for nothing.

Mecha is a big supporter of reconquistatdor. The plan is for California and everthing west of a line from Texas to Washington state to break off and become part of a new nation, Aztlan. People would do well to investigate internet Mecha sites, LaRaza, MALDEF and Aztlan.net.

http://www.aztlan.net

This site will open a few eyes. It's an anti-Simetic cespool.

Cruz Bustamante is a brown serparatist. I guess that's better than a white separatest, since the networks and and the print media give Bustamante a free pass on this subject.

Then, it might be worth trying to get the Anti-Defamation League or Jewish Defense League on his case:

webmaster@adl.org

jdljdl@aol.com

The ADL's website is here: http://www.adl.org/adl.asp

If they get enough queries about a possibly anti-semitic candidate, then perhaps they will enter the anti-Bustamante fray.

as I had mentioned the other day, if this were widely reported in Calif, then Bustamante would lose 80% of his democratic base.

Keep the fire going!!

Heh heh heh. This POS Bustamante is a bad jalapeno seed, but I think we all may hear about a worse seed named Arnold, backed by Bush, in the very near future. Cruz-bag still begs to be harpooned, though. ¿Got el nuke?

I made my own bumper stickers with adhesive backed computer paper "A vote for Bustamante is a vote for Mexifornia" with an American flag with a 'no' symbol on it (circle with a slash). Suggest all do the same, or you can freemail me and I will send you some. Also let me know if you have any good slogans to put on new stickers..

Repost, hope nobody minds.

The legend lives on from the Pechanga on down
Of California’s First Mate Bustamante
A tax-hiking swine, Cruz looked as refined
As Quixote astride Rocinante.

With the recall bein’ signed, Cruz thrice had declined
E’er to run on the ballot himself, see
For to do so would be, surely, disloyalty
To Cap’n Gray Davis’s party!

And Cruz was the pride of the La Raza side
Who longed for the reconquistada
As big politicos go he was bigger than most
Yet sounded so damn disparatada [nonsensical].

The news on the wire set Cruz’s ambitions afire
As the recall broke past Davis’s defenses
Every Democrat knew, as Cap’n Davis did, too,
Californians had come to their senses!

The crew wired Dianne it’d really hit the fan
And their Democrat ship’s beams were a-groanin’
but Admiral Dianne wouldna’ go; she shut off her radio
When the ship was broadsided by Conan!

It was then, Cruz did say, Davis was dead anyway –
“So what’s the point keepin’ mi promesa?”
He backstabbed ol’ Gray but, that very same day,
apologized por la sorpresa!

October 7 she came with Gray pullin’ up lame
while Tom and Bill threw help to Conan
Bustamante we’re told never rose in the polls
despite 75 days of his phonin’

And so it went, his political capital spent
To his party, he was repugnante
And so down went Gray, and, the very same day,
came the wreck of the Cruz Bustamante!

***

Orange County rolls, Sacramento sings
Of the cuts in Davis - Cruz taxes
California she steams with the Terminator’s dreams,
As regulation falls under the axes!

***

The legend lives on from the Pechanga on down
Of a left-wing racist muy gigante
That Election Day, Californians all say
brought the Wreck of The Cruz Bustamante!

The Democrats always give their own a pass regarding racial slurs ...

Byrd said in part, "I think we try to have good will. My old mom told me, `Robert, you can't go to heaven if you hate anybody.' We practice that. There are white ni**ers. I've seen a lot of white ni**ers in my time. I'm going to use that word."

See this Michelle Malkin article about Robert Byrd from March 7, 2001

Former KKK Clansman,
Senator Robert Byrd……

Hillary's own racial/ethnic slur !.....

BOOK CHARGES: HILLARY CALLED AIDE JEW BA**ARD
DRUDGE REPORT
FRIDAY JULY 14, 2000 12:00:00 ET

**World Exclusive**
**Contains Graphic Description**

Hillary Clinton has angered Jewish voters in New York and nationally with her controversial support of a Palestinian State, and her startling embrace of Yasser Arafat s wife.

Questions remain, and the debate intensifies, as to whether she can win the crucial Jewish vote in New York as she wages a neck-and-neck battle with Congressman Rick Lazio, who has made the Jewish question a campaign issue.

Now, as the race comes down to the wire, a new book is set to explore the first lady s feelings about Jews and anti-Semitic sentiments held by certain Rodham family members.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0060193921/drudgereport>Biographer Jerry Oppenheimer s new book STATE OF A UNION: INSIDE THE COMPLEX MARRIAGE OF BILL AND HILLARY CLINTON will not be released by HARPERCOLLINS until Tuesday, but the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal:

In one particularly shocking passage in the book, Oppenheimer quotes a campaign official who describes an angry attack by Hillary in which she screams at him, "You fu**ing Jew ba**ard!"

My apologies for the language, even though I did ** it out. I had to show the blatant hypocrisy, in light of the recent Trent Lott debacle.

I checked these sites out, and you are 110% correct! Just reading the lines, not even between them, reveals much about this group: it is only "immigrants" or "undocumented immigrants." It is never illegal to invade the U.S.!

The ranchers in AZ and NM, trying to do the government's job are called "anti-immigrant," never anti ILLEGAL immigrant!

I guess there is no difference in their minds between illegal and legal immigration, despite the fact that Mexico jealously and effectively guards its southern borders against illegals from other Central and South American countries. I guess it is just the gringos that practice racial bias and try to enforce their borders.

Just a little hint/suggestion re the data on these Anti America/American sites.

Data like what you are posting tends to disappear when these websites become aware that we are using their sites/positions to expose their true nature.

You need to store the entire documents on another server. Saving the links will not work if they delete the documents.

John Rob had promised to set up server space on Free Republic for monthly donors. You might check and see if he has made arrangements for storage on FR's server for monthly donors.

I've spent some time there. A careful read of their manifestoes shows very little in the way of actual facts, but the gist appears to be some kind of communist system where "they" (whoever they are) are firmly in charge.

I'm going to take a wild guess, and say that whites, blacks and other racial groups would, well, probably not enjoy life under this new regime.

Their slogan is (translated) "For the race, all; for outside the race, nothing." (I don't remember the actual Spanish, but that's what it means).

It doesn't seem very open to interpretation.

I forget which leading Democrat made the comment, but when asked if illegal immigrants should be repatriated, one of them said something to the effect, "That isn't the issue. Getting whites out of California is." (paraphrased)

The media reports none of this. When Cruz used the Nig-er word a few weeks ago numerous times in a speach to a crowd full of blacks, the media was silent on the subject. It's very clear that racism and insensitivity just don't count if it's exhibited by latinos.

Please be careful, Abigail. Those gang idiots shoot at people for less than that.

They're so dumb that they don't realize what would happen to California if their plan succeeds, i.e., all the "donators" would leave, making room for all the "takers". California would be just another corrupt extension of Mexico. It's already getting there.

Last Summer during and after the Oregon forest fires a lot of data re statements from the enviral whackos and the USFS just disappeared from the whacko sites and US Forestry/Wilderness sites.

Then, in September there was a massive fish kill in the lower Klamath River. The enviral whackos tried to blame GW for low water (in other words he gave water to evil farmers and ranchers). Actually there were high water levels the Friday and weekend before the kill from the Trinity flowing into the lower Klamath. (White water rats, the river boating enviral whackos got one more high water 3 day weekend.)

That highwater broke loose the gravel bar that forms in the late spring until the heavy rains that come in very late September/and October.

The salmon swum up stream thinking that it was time when the bar broke open. Then late Sunday night, the damn people stopped the high flow and went to the normal end of summer flow.

The salmon and steelhead were caught in a low water situation. They swam to the few deep pools. Then, over crowding and disease hit the weakening and trapped fish.
There was a massive kill.

When we tried to go back and get the actual water flows, that data was gone.

We saw Doug Thompson erase stories from his server after he was outed re his "CIA" source in one of Doug's trashing of GW.

So if you want to keep this data from these scumbags, it has be stored in total document form on another server or on your computer.

Thanks GrandpaDave. I'll keep that in mind. Al Frankin could find far more material for a book on his side of the isle than ours.

No, I don't think so. Besides I'm afraid to pass it out in my area. I'm going to the richer areas, markets and stuff where I people are more sheltered and may need a little shock and awe.
