To your point about hearing, "yes,..um..um", I agree, but I also feel strongly that we need to hear exactly what the question was. We didn't get a direct quote on it.

As to the name "Peterson", I know what you mean, but don't have an answer for that one.

As for "yes", if I were the prosecutor, and arguments were made about the deeper meaning of "yes", I'd reply, "Ladies and gentlemen, you don't need Mr. Geragos to tell you what this word means. He is insulting your intelligence by pretending you don't know what it means. When I judge whether I like the appearance of a newsperson, it doesn't enter into my mind whether I'm being "fair" to women or men. Liking is a gut feeling, an emotion.
