Yes IBH, Rita's special sauces, I mean sources have been wrong before.
I can't wait till the pre-lim to hear some reporting on the facts.....not just leaks from "special sources."

I also think that we'd have to hear the way "yes... um...um" comes out before we can judge the significance as "yes" does serve other principles in conversation.First, I see you're new to FR. Welcome!
Next, as to liking Greta and Janie, sometimes we just don't like the message vs. the messenger. LOL
To your point about hearing, "yes,..um..um", I agree, but I also feel strongly that we need to hear exactly what the question was. We didn't get a direct quote on it.
As to the name "Peterson", I know what you mean, but don't have an answer for that one.

Greta, though no beauty, is tolerable. She is, however, capable of speaking in a logical way.
Janie is repulsive. She speaks nonsense, like a crazy woman in a mental hospital.
As for "yes", if I were the prosecutor, and arguments were made about the deeper meaning of "yes", I'd reply, "Ladies and gentlemen, you don't need Mr. Geragos to tell you what this word means. He is insulting your intelligence by pretending you don't know what it means. If anyone here does not know the meaning of this 3-letter English word, please raise your hand and we will replace you with one of the alternate jurors."

It's a violation of the gag order--if the person who spilled the beans was subject to the gag order.

How could he NOT be swept off his feet by two such vibrant and engaging women?
To: Plinth
You're turned on by flat or inappropriate affect? What other flat things turn you on?

A reply by Scott of "no, but I know who did" was reported months ago, and by a different source. If accurate, that very nearly as damning as "yes...uh...uh...but no."
Oh, but we can't believe anything at all that any of these media people tell us, anyway. Laci probably isn't even dead. She's probably home changing her baby's diapers. We're all the victims of a cruel hoax.

Kind of puts me in mind of sibling rivalry. Everything has to be exactly symmetrical.
"He got an extra 1/4 cookie, Ma!!!"
When I judge whether I like the appearance of a newsperson, it doesn't enter into my mind whether I'm being "fair" to women or men. Liking is a gut feeling, an emotion.

My WHAT??
Ladies of SCOW, I think it's time to put this guy in his place. I will not sit here and have my bodily attributes discussed.

In order to buy Miz Weintraub's take--that he just wasn't much paying attention, and a little question like, oh, "did you have anything to do with the disappearance of your wife" just slipped in with his only half noticing it--in order to buy that, one would have to be taking the same anti-psychotic drugs that Miz Weintraub no doubt is given on a daily basis.

I'll bet Janie's significant other wonders what he/she/etc. metaphor.
To: Plinth
Come to that, you could've said "your head".
