TIOGA - Bullets sprayed into the trailer as Patricia George screamed and covered her 9-month-old daughter and 3-year-old niece.

Verna Elliott and Connie Bell huddled in another bedroom as Bell yelled into the telephone at a 911 operator.

"I kept screaming, 'He is going to kill us,'" Bell said. "He has already shot my brother-in-law."

Bullets sprayed into the trailer

What kind of .22 rifle was he using, that "sprays" bullets?

Somebody should beat this reported over the head with the Unabridged Dictionary until she learns some vocabulary.

Whoops, "reported" = "reporter." Somebody should get her bifocals before tax time arrives!

An M-16 converted to fully automatic mode.

I really don't know the answer. I was just doing the "series, hugh" thingy along with you. If an M-16 can be had in .22 cal. I would be surprised also.

LOL! I was thinking machine guns were larger caliber, not to mention illegal. It was just so obviously an attempt to spin the story "anti-gun," when the real point would be "don't shack up with drunk trash."
