American businesses continue to march in lock step with homosexual ideals.
America's top corporations continue to take on policies pleasing to homosexual activists. A new ranking shows more companies than ever are rewriting employee manuals to include gay ideals.
The Human Rights Campaign Foundation found that two out of every of three companies on the Fortune 500 list of America's top corporations now specifically protect sexual orientation in their employee codes. The group rated companies on seven criteria, such as offering domestic-partner benefits or diversity training. More than 20 companies scored a perfect 100, representing a 91 percent increase over last year's ratings.
Mike Haley, who heads the gender issues department at Focus on the Family, noted that more than 70 percent of the companies surveyed now advertise to the gay community.
"The gay issue is one that's not going away," Haley said. "We see it in the media, we see it in the military, we see it all throughout every walk of life. When you see major organizations and companies throughout our country endorsing this, what child who's struggling with gender-identity formation isn't going to see homosexuality as a potential positive option? That scares me."
Bob Knight, director of the Culture and Family Institute, said corporations are not taking into account the human cost of homosexuality.
"There are epidemics raging among homosexuals, and yet (companies are) promoting the very behavior that's taking people's lives," Knight said.
In spite of the massive shift in policies, Buddy Smith with the American Family Association said Christians need to fight the fight.
"If anything," Smith said, "this report is a call to be more faithful to God and more faithful to being salt and light in our culture."
Among the companies scoring a perfect 100 for gay-friendliness: American Airlines, Apple Computer, Capital One, IBM, Intel and Levi Strauss & Co.. Last year, three companies scored a zero, this year not one company did.
There were, however, five companies who scored close to zero, refusing to bow to the homosexual agenda: Exxon Mobil Corp, whose shareholders have repeatedly voted down proposals to oppose discrimination against homosexuals; Domino's Inc; Aramark; Meijer, Inc. — a discount retail chain with stores in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky; and National Gypsum, a supplier of building and construction materials in North Carolina.

Homosexuality has become an increasingly prevalent part of modern society. It has infiltrated our schools, our news media, our entertainment media and may soon redefine our concept of marriage.
However, homosexuality is by its very nature dangerous to those who practice it. And society is doing homosexuals a disservice when it endorses and promotes homosexuality as normal. In doing so, it is encouraging these Americans to engage in self-destructive behavior.
Homosexuality is an issue of morality. But it is also an fundamental issue of public health. The evidence is clear. American government, educational systems, and courts should note the facts presented in this paper and advance public policy and curricula that encourage sound behavior rather than offering special protection and endorsement to a behavior that threatens individuals as well as public health.
The future of America hangs in the balance. If society is not willing to address the homosexual issue on moral grounds, then the medical evidence alone should be enough to convince the fair-minded that homosexuality is incompatible with good public health.SODOMY Health and Homosexuality
