Spin:"It's really about establishing a democratic set of options for students by pushing for more diverse curriculum and faculty," Herrera said. "MEChA also goes out into the community to tutor young Latinos and mentor them. It's an agenda that is very ambitious and very soulful."

Reality:"For the race, everything. For those outside the race, nothing."

""MEChA is about cultural awareness, cultural pride, community participation, furthering our education and responsibilities as a citizen," he said."

And I guess that stick of dynamite in the group's logo is a symbol of fiesta?

They got caught. And they don't like the sun blaring on their stated goals. They are no better in their stated views than any other supremicist group.

For example, the California State University, Sacramento, chapter's Web site says the group's purpose is to promote education among Chicano students and unify them politically and culturally.

Just change "Chicano" to "White" and imagine the reaction.

the brutal 'gringo' invasion of our territories

Gringos like:

Cabeza de Vaca
Hernando de Soto
Francisco Vásquez de Coronado
Sebastian Meléndez Rodríguez Cermenho

Notice how the names get longer???

Do these knuckleheads think they're pure blood Aztecs? They are the bastard children of the Spanish mercantile class, and the new world 'injuns'.

And I still beleive in Santa Claus and the tooth fairy too!

We have their own words on their web site to go by! They are seditionists pure and simple. And It's time we started to look into the history of all the rest of these political office olders.

Didn't one of them say that they were going to "take over all the political institutions in California?" Seems like Cruz just jumped the gun here and turned the light of day on all this horse hockey.

Por La Raza Toda Por El Resto Nada

I think those words are the 21st century equivalent of "Rum, Romanism, and Rebellion." The words that cost the GOP standard-bearer James G. Blaine the 1884 election to Grover Cleveland.

Goodbye Cruz.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Mexican Eagle
Stick of Dynamite in one claw
A Machete in the other

HISPANIC LEADERS SPEAK OUT!

Augustin Cebada, Brown Berets: "Go back to Boston! Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You are old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you. Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die. ….. Through love of having children, we are going to take over.

Richard Alatorre, Los Angeles City Council
"They’re afraid we’re going to take over the governmental institutions and other institutions. They’re right. We will take them over. …. We are here to stay."
Excelsior- The national newspaper of Mexico
"The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot."

Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas.
----- "We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population. ….. I love it. They are shitting in their pants with fear. I love it."

Art Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party
"Remember 187 (proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non citizens) was the last gasp of white America in California."

Gloria Molina, Los Angeles County Supervisor
"We are politicizing every single one of these new citizens that are becoming citizens of this country….I gotta tell you that a lot of people are saying, "I’m going to go out there and vote because I want to pay them back."

Mario Obledo, California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare under Jerry Brown, also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Bill Clinton
"California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn’t like it should leave."

Jose Pescador Osuna, Mexican Consul General
We are practicing "La Reconquista" in California."

Professor Fernando Guerra, Loyola Marymount University:
"We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos…."

Are these just the words of a few extremists? Consider that we could fill up many pages with such quotes. Also, consider that these are mainstream Mexican leaders.

Exactly.

Mecha is about assimilation?

Mecha is about infiltration and subversion.

Augustin Cebada, Brown Berets: "Go back to Boston! Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims!"

To Mr. Cebada:

My family landed at Plymouth.

We have carried the fine tradition of assimilating your women into our American culture since we landed in 1635.

The funny thing is, our children are just as proud of your culture as they are of American culture. They're just Americans, first.

These are the people you'll have to face if you promote this idiocy.

Once you go American, you don't go back...

They are also in the high schools and even junior high schools feeding this crap into the heads of the illegal aliens from Mexico that the Supreme Court has told us we must educate!

Kinda makes you wonder just exactly for whom is this government working for, doesn't it?

Cruz uses the "N-word" as well. Life's own experience has demonstrated ALL the Aztlanistas see no problem in using the "N-word".

Democrats have an interesting problem on their hands in California ~ are they going to embrace the Klan, albeit one whose members have heavy tans ~ or, are they going to back a Liberal (like Schwarzenegger) in the race?

I can't help but notice one thing is missing from all of these lamestream news articles about MEChA:

the quote "Por la Raza, todo. Por la fuera, nada."
(for the Race, everything, for those outside the Race, NOTHING)

That would go a long way towards convincing people what MEChA is really all about. Which is, of course, why it's being left out.
