Kind of like the NYT coverage of the capture of Eric Rudolph.

They made it seem like all the locals were pro-Rudolph.

This was even after that bald CNN reporter, who has been covering the Rudolph case for years emphatically stated that local support for Rudolph was very small and very scattered.

The NYT is a fine example of yellow journalism. I pee on every copy I see laying around.

The New York Times caricature of the average Southerner: your unwashed Hill Billy type with a rifle in rifle rack in the front part of the pick up truck, beer-guzzling, pot-bellied, uneducated, easy to command fundamentalist yahoo and Confederate Flag window sticker in the rear window redneck.
