I can't think of anything more patronizing than a stock show talking head saying how great it is to die for a free Iraq.

That is sickening.

I would disagree on his reason behind a free Iraq rather than assurance they are unarmed, its a nice after effect for the good of the world, but I would hardly condemn the guy for standing up for our soldiers whom many believe what they are doing is richeous and good.

And who says Covuto isnt allowed to have an opinion? The two top Market analysts, Covuto and Lou Dobbs both venture into other areas though Covuto is usually in his own opinion piece at the end.

Cavuto clearly states that it is his OPINION. Furthermore, he never said, "how great it is to die for a free Iraq."

Unless you are making statements like this in jest or as sarcasm; then you must be a pathetically ignorant moron.

He didn't say that. He said that in considering their deaths, its important to consider what they died for. It's the very same, simple rationale you use when a soldier dies anywhere: that they didn't die for no reason. Others may disagree with whether or not their service accomplished anything good, and that's a legitimate point of contention.

But what Cavuto actually said was miles away from your accusation that he said: "how great it is to die for a free Iraq". He didn't say it was "great" to die for anything. So congratulations for beating the crap out of a strawman. That is sickening

So is distorting what someone says to make a cheap point.

I dont count it as patronizing at all. He speaks the truth. I made it out alive, many of my brothers have not. The deaths of these patriots is not in vein. The Gunny

I can. A person who unfailingly, incessantly sprints to every thread containing positive news on Iraq only to cyber-urinate all over it, knowing full well that family members of and perhaps even deployed service members themselves will read that childish, venomous drivel.
