Well, at least the new ball field in Detroit, Comerica Park, is nice.

Also,theres a couple nice restaurants out in the suburbs somewhere. And its less than 2000 miles from Cheyenne!

I sure do remember Brian Kingman. He was one of Billy Martin's starting five during the "Era of Billy Ball" in Oakland. There was no quality pitching in the bullpen, so Billy let all of his starters pitch complete games - win or lose. Martin was roundly criticized in a feature article in Sports Illustrated for allowing five young pitchers, including Kingman, to blow their arms out and ruin their careers. I believe Mike Norris, Steve McCatty, Matt Keough, and Richmond native Rick Langford were the others.
