Edward Kennedy (Democrat) for Governor of California
Edward Kennedy ^ | September 6, 2003 | DiamondDon1

Posted on 09/06/2003 10:45:36 AM PDT by DiamondDon1

This just appears too easy. The Democrats have a candidate Edward Kennedy running for California Governor. Review his website:

www.kennedygovernor.com

He appears to be an okay guy. He says “I am a lifelong Democrat. The recall is not an attempt by Republicans to steal an election.” He compares himself to Arnold (but he laments that he has zero movie kills to Arnold’s 441…).

Since he is a democrat with limited resources, I believe the people at Free Republic should help him. Though precinct walking for the Republican is considered a good idea, I think posting signs for Mr. Kennedy in heavily Democratic areas of L.A. and S.F. roughly three to five days prior to the election is a good idea to get his name out there for consideration. Nothing really fancy here (of course fancy is always welcome). If this catches on, we can have a number of FReepers skilled in the arts (you know who you are) give us artwork to print on color or black & white printers. Door hangers and car flyers would not be a bad idea either (car flyers are faster and easier…).

Just a thought…no one has mentioned a Democratic choice for Governor that I can recall so I thought I would be the first.

Well, the other Edward Kennedy has more "real life" kills than either of them.

What do you guys think??? It would clear up that Cruz has no competitors problem and gives the Democrats the I.Q. test...(thanks to Canticle of Deborah for the I.Q. thought...)

Gee DD, I thought Cruz DID have a competitor, that's why the TRIANGULATION strategy was so "brilliant" and "we" could "win".

Call me old fashion, but I'm having a tough time understanding whose the Donkey and whose the Elephant, and what we define as strategy to get what is best for us these days...LOL

This is not an Arnold or Tom issue, this is to send Democrats in general packing...then it would be a two-man race...

You see when Democrats are looking through that long ballot and come across Edward Kennedy(D) voila they found their man. All these lower I.Q. life forms need is a little "help" to reach their decision...get it???

It won't work unless we can get alot of people on board...

I'm sorry but Mary Carey is already my second choice. She has good, if not catty, business sense with the implant issue.

Remember Florida...Democrats can't figure out punch card ballots, butterfly ballots, basic concepts of thermodynamics, proper cookie making, or that wood should be primed prior to painting.

They really do need our help to get through are the difficulties of voting... ;)

Thanks for the I.Q. issue...

And I do respect your second choice of Mary Carey because of her ideas on taxing implants. This is not about us though. We need to help Democrats get through that really hard ballot, with nice posters of Kennedy for Governor!

You see it is all about them...this is something both the Arnold and Tom crowds can agree on. Help the Democrats make the "RIGHT" choice. He will probably get alot votes even without our help...

MWAHAHAHAHAHA! I thought we had a checkpoint to keep the Kennedys out (except for short visits). It works as well as the BP checkpoints apparently.

I think that this could be really easy. The Democrats in the know may scratch their heads, but will go ahead and vote for Cruz. But their side is the lower I.Q. side. They have alot of voters that typically just vote D. But there are 45 D's and we should be compassionate here, and help them...

But I cannot do this alone, we need alot of people willing to do some rudimentary printing and passing out of flyers in a moving FREEP of the metro areas. Since this will be a low turnout election anyway, and the Democrats that vote will be down, we can really do alot of "Good" with timing and placement...

See if others are interested, or if this is just fun "talk"...
