As I tuned in, waiting for the speech to come, I surfed to C-SPAM which was rebroadcasting Thursday's democRAT debate. I couldn't help but note the totally inane reply by Gov. Dean, when asked about balancing security needs vis a vis immigration.

He starts off by railing against profiling of all shapes and form, saying it doesn't work and blaming everything on Republicans. Then, after he sets down that marker, he says it is stupid to allow 9/11 to affect immigration from Latin America. "After all," he says, "last time I looked, not one of those 9/11 terrorists was from Latin America."

Did he not just engage in racial profiling in order to justify his second point?! And the stupic RATs in the audience cheered to both his points. Geez... what a pandering hypocrite.

Then turn the channel... I doubt those words are there. In November 2004, you will have the chance to vote for Howard Dean. Go for it.

Isn't that the truth. The last few weeks I wasn't sure if I was Freeping our lurking at DU! Something I decided over a year ago not to do, and haven't, as it's bad for my mental health.

Cincinnati has a lot of interests... it's a great city.

One thing I really liked about downtown Cincinnati were the large number and variety of restaurants within short walking distance of the hotels and conference center where our conference was located. We actually had choices for our lunch breaks...

I hope President Bush reminds viewers it's far better the terrorists face our armed, well trained soldier rather than our unarmed citizens in the homeland.
